Back from vacation....

I'm back from vacation and at work trying to get caught up. We had a great trip that was lots of fun including my son catching his first fish, one of the highlights for sure! Let me get caught up today and hopefully I can update things tomorrow.
Until then here is a picture of Lil Doc proudly showing his first fish!

The Gift of Grippo's!!

About a week ago during a conversation on Twitter somehow the subject of potato chips came up. I'm not really even sure how it did but a couple of my friends from the midwest Matt-Man and Mrs. D suggested that I need to trip Grippo's hot BBQ chips. Being a local midwest thing I had no access to them so Matt-Man (and Schmoop) sent me a delivery which I received yesterday. Let me tell you something, these these chips are good... damn good. Maybe GREAT even however they are not for the pansy weak of tastebud though. These things have some kick to them:

The package has landed
Oooh a Twin Pack!
Gratuitous Cute Kid Picture

Yum these things are good
What are these Daddy? Those are heavenly goodness from the Matt-Man!
One handful is not enough

My son likes them but thinks they are "Too Spicy"

He is still stuffing his face though....

Yum... Grippo's!!

Daddy gives them a BBQ-ey Two thumbs up!

I highly suggest if you haven't tried Grippo's you need to !
Thanks again Matt-Man!

Curious Geroge Live!

On Sunday we took my son Patrick to see his absolute favorite Character Curious George live on Stage. He was thrilled beyond belief and even though he missed his nap we had a great time. I figured that I would share a few pictures:

Trying to get his picture with George.... This is the best of about 15 tries.

The Stage!
Proud Dad and son getting ready for the show.

Curious George on Stage!
"Hi Curious George"

Yum.. Popcorn!

"I sit with you Daddy?"

At the intermission I got him a balloon.... Oh what fun!

Good thing I tied it to my camera case

Please smile for the camera

My son the stalker kept trying to go back a row and hit on this poor girl. I bet he tried to talk to her 10 times... also wanted to "show her his balloon" You go boy! Here is his new favorite can't put it down stuffed animal George. He refused to pose for a picture for me so this is the best I have.

Short Video of my son playing in the snow

When we were up in New York for the wedding last weekend Patrick got to play in the snow. He loved it. I figured on a Sunday I would share a quick clip of him running around making snow balls.

Patrick's First NFL Game

We were able to take Patrick to his first NFL game this past Sunday. The Carolina Panthers vs the Tampa Bay Bucs. IT was very cold and windy but we all bundled up in our cold weather Panthers gear and went to the stadium. Patrick absolutely loved it. He enjoyed the game, the food, the people, and of course we won! Here are a few pics:
In the stands
Trying to shoot the wrapper off his straw. Check out the cool new hat!

Of course we had to get a pawprint tattoo on our face!

Father and son (in the sun) FYI. My gut is not that big, I had spare diapers and wipes in my sweatshirt kangaroo pocket

TOUCHDOWN ... WOOOOOO !!!
I love that kid so much and can't wait to take him to more games!
