Word Game Winner 9/10/2008

Tuesday Word Game winner

Word Game Winner

Thanks to each of you who played Word Game this week. We had a little fun at those Russian police who cannot take a joke. I looked back over all the comments and figured there was one clear cut winner. This weeks winner is Jay the Cynical Bastard himself for this particularly intricate method of dealing with those Russian police:

"Instead we suggest that the Russian police should be duct taped to a chair and have 1,000 paper cuts inflicted up on them all over their bodies. The, have someone take an eyedropper filled with salt water and acid drop little drops of the concoction on each of the paper cuts. Then they should have each of their nose hairs pulled out using tweezers. Finally we will take some jumper cables and run them from a battery to their nipples. The battery will be powered by a hamster in one of those wheels that hamsters run in all the time. This hamster has been trained to fun as fast as he can every time he hears the word "fuck." Then, we will show "Pulp Fiction" and "Glen Gary Glen Ross" on a continuous loop for at least 24 hours."

OK everyone, after yesterday's edition of Tuesday Word Game is there any doubt who the winner should be? I didn't think so. I think everyone could agree that Bina's huge torrent of crazy kidnapping (or kidnappins) stories certainly qualifies for the win. I was laughing all afternoon! Thank you to all my peeps who weren't hung over or asleep and played Tuesday word game yesterday. This weeks winner was tough to choose as always. Leighann and Lu were on fire as usual. I went back and read and the entry that got me laughing the most was from an anonymous commenter named "Cammy". Now I am pretty sure I know who this person is and think that she would make an excellent blogger because she is certainly "US People" Cammy's comment was the following Brittney Spears based quip:

Word Game Winner

Good morning everyone!

Thanks to everyone who played word game yesterday. Great answers as always. This is really tough trying to choose just one because yesterday there could have been many winners. They were right, if you had done that in your audition you would never have even made it to Hollywood. Announcements

OK everyone... a couple of announcements. (don't you feel like you are back in High School listening to the intercom?)
-First, Thanks again to MickyT for the idea of Peachfest... This is now scheduled for May 20th at Noon (Eastern time) where we will play a special edition of Tuesday Word game and try to get 500+ comments. I am excited!
-Second, I consulted with one of my peeps about the t-shirts and got several good ideas that I think we will go with. The t-shirts will be of course for anyone who contributes. I originally had the idea of a contest for a slogan and I am still working on how to incorporate that. I think you all will like the t-shirts ... I am keeping them a secret though.
-Congrats again to Jahooni who became our 25,000th visitor yesterday evening. (No it's not a joke and we aren't trying to Punk you LOL) See the post below this one. We do have a presentation to make you you that is special and I think you will be very happy with it. It's the first of it's kind presentation from us here at YJKOBT. Presentation to take place tomorrow.
-Thanks again to everyone who contributed to Tuesday Word game yesterday, It was a really great addition. We got tons of great entries and as usual I laughed my butt off as usual and had a hard time deciding a winner because you guys are truly hilarious! There were many quality entries but after consulting with a few others and reading all your comments I have to agree that this comment by Mt. Cat was the funniest of the entries:

The scientists also plan a research project to study if Heather Mills' leg falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it scream for more money?

I am changing my previous position and officially saying that even though he is co-owner of this blog he can win the Peach. So here you go buddy:

-Along the lines of the 25,000th visitor we want to thank everyone who visited yesterday because we set records for total hits, visitors, and first time visitors yesterday. It was a big day.
-And finally if anyone can legitimately say that after hearing David Archuleta sing Sweet Caroline and America last night that he can sing well and should be the winner of Idol then I say that you are on crack... Tuesday Word Game Winner

Tuesday word game was awesome as always yesterday. Yesterday we learned a lot... and hopefully the DEA wasn't reading or they might have learned a thing or two as well.

It's tough picking a winner because they are all great but I did narrow the field and after a re-read I was able to pick one out. This week the peach is going to the guy who I call The "hardest working man in the blogosphere" MickyT who writes MalihiniTennessee and who I might be related too...
