After a few weeks off we make a return to the wackiness that is our little Tuesday game where we take odd news stories and attempt to make them even more odd.
This weeks article comes to us from Australia where it seems there is a baby whale who has mistaken a yacht as it's mother. Give the article a read and hopefully the whale does find it's real mother. It's kind of a sad story so I hope we can bring some humor to it. While a whale and a yacht is certainly an odd couple I am sure that we can come up with some more good examples of confused parentage. SYDNEY, Australia A lost humpback whale calf that bonded with a yacht it seems to think is its mother will likely die within days if it doesn't find another mother to adopt it, a wildlife official said Tuesday.
The 1- to 2-month-old calf was first sighted Sunday in waters off north Sydney, and on Monday tried to suckle from a yacht, which it would not leave.
