I'm tired

I think I need to leave city life and go rural. New York City is a drug and its needle is still in my arm. No specific events to speak of last night but the euphoria of hanging out on a beautiful night last night with friends inevitable ends in a huge belly flop onto my bed at 1 AM. But alas I will be fine after a few glasses of water. I think I will stay home tonight and save my power for the weekend and do it all over again.

God I hate this town. I'm just having too much fun here.

Have a good Thursday everyone.

Dude, you are still trying to hang like we did when we were in our early 20s. No wonder you are tired. I am usually in bed by 10 on the weekdays. I can't hang out like that anymore.

I can see how that would come into play. Rest up and enjoy the weekend!

Doc, Hey now that I've had a couple of cups of coffee I feel great!

Maybe I can move into Micky-T's boat house? That looks serene. LOL

Busy day today at work. Talk to you later....

TMC doesn't have kids, he should be able to stay up until 1am, probably just not every night.

Mt. Kitty--you need to come to the South and chill with us!

Apple... he used to but Charlotte wasn't big enough for him... He took off up back north. He ain't coming back.

Hell I'm in the burbs and we can do it up too! there's lawn watering games and guess who that strange car belongs too. as the night goes on we listen for the crashing sounds as TGIF closes and top it all off with which direction are the fire engine sirens coming from.

The burbs never sleep! they just slip into a coma.

pace yourself kid. it's a marathon!

I totally understand where you are coming from Vin. I tend to burn my candle on both ends too. I go out a lot on week nights and drag myself out of bed to get to work.

But sitting at home and watching tv every night is just boring. And there is just no comparision between us swinging singles and those who have kids and stuff.

Doc, You know I love the South! Who knows? The right woman, the right timing, Ya never know?....
Or maybe San Diego?
Or I may say F it all and move to Tibet!

I wish I hated my town that good! LOL And I wish I had friends that LIKED to hang out late at night.

Do you want to trade places?

My heart weeps for you MCat... Although I got in at a respectable 12:30 myself last night it was bar/movies/another bar. Jack Black is funnier when you're tipsy :)

Bina, You don't want my life. I am like a clown. Smiling on the outside. Sorrow in the inside. I've been to the top of the mountain grasshooper. It is lonley at the top.

After re-reading my story above, it sounded like I had an orgy with my friends. Please note, I did not have an orgy. Not last night anyway.

Hey Vin... Brother Jimmy is at the Garden tonight... you ought to go the show !!

I know I forgot all about it. I need to skip it.

Remember Jimmy Butthead?:

'I'm gonna get drunk, you're screwed'

'Yes I am a Butthead. Don't know the reason why? I made enough money to buy Miami so kiss my ass goodbye.'

'We got fans to the left. Fans to the right. And we're halfway out of town!'

It sounds like the kind of place I would really hate too.

I think I'll move there just to punish myself. ;-)

I'm tired too. I feel like I have one foot on the escalator (going down) to narcalepsy!
I LOVE NYC though - it knows how to keep me awake!!!

btw, I'm trying to find somebody to escort me to a Yankees game and Coney Island. is there someone you can recommend?
