Good afternoon. Previously we discussed our favorite drummers and lead guitarists.
What about our favorite rock bass guitarists?
Here are mine:
1. John Entwistle – The Who
2. Michael "Flea" Balzary – Red Hot Chili Peppers
3. Geddy Lee - Rush
4. John Paul Jones – Led Zeppelin
Tie 5. Bootsy Collins – Parliament Funkadelic;
Les Claypool – Primus
I know there are a lot more folks?
Have a great day.

I am wondering why Heather Mills' ex-hubby isn't on the list ??
Wow.... I don't even know where to begin with this one....
I like to catch bass.
Sam Bass is one of my favorite artists !!
How about Brian Wilson ??
Doesn't Gordon Sumner play bass?
music LOVE to listen to it don't care for disecting it. See ya on the flip flop folks :)
You missed one of the best IMHO... Jack Cassidy, Jefferson Airplane/Hot Tuna...
He has a style all his own.
David Archuleta?
oh wait....
Leighann... If that little snot nose punk wins tonight I will scream... The judges hammered Cook last night too... Blah Blah Blah
You know what, if that little ankle biter wins it'll be the end of AI for me.
I was happy with Cook's performances but really thought he'd go out with a bang and was more than a little surprised when he didn't.
I am very slammed at work today. How are y'all?
Paul McCartney is #6.
And Dee Murray #7. Who is that you say? Listen to all Elton John albums from the '70s. Great bassman!
See you later....
Wow Doc we wore everyone yesterday. It's a ghost town today....
Dude... I think there just may not be that many great bass players.
Of course our friends may also be suffering from carple tunnel... BOTH of my wrists have been hurting today after yesterday's torrent of commenting.
Can't type...too painful.

Annikan got 10,000 comments for Pomegranitefest. LOL

Sorry about that Knight... we surely don't mean to wound our friends here... LOL
Annikin can kiss my a$$ (do you think that will make her comment?)
Maybe not so much worn out as the topic? We all had to catch up on missed work.
Lu', shall I not discuss our favorite musicians anymore?
Sorry, I have no comment. I have been one of the ones catching up on work today. Plus, I had a 2 hr mtg this morning. Good thing that wasn't scheduled for yesterday...Id've had to pull a "Bina". :)
Sorry cuz after yesterday I couldnt think anymore...its an off day for everyone....Remember : "You build it and they will Come" and they all did...good job guys
I think I am spent after yesterday. I really zero opinion on this matter.
Mt. Cat, are you planning to move through all instuments? I am going to start studying up on flute and harmonica players. I am weak in those areas. :)
Karen, We'll if people want, I can do lead singers next week? Then cello players.....Yo Yo Ma and....hmmmm?
...any musician will tell you that one of the hardest things to do is sing and play bass at the same time...my vote: Little Paulie McCartney
And here I thought Bass was a fish..hummmm ;)
Ummmmmmmmmmm Flea....all the way and then some !!!!!!!!!!!!
