I LOVE Starbucks! Mmmmm, coffee! Need some NOW!

Lu--Carmel Machiatto is too sweet for me. I like the Mocha (hot or iced) maybe with a shot of Peppermint or Raspberry.

*Barf*

Don't knock it til you've tried it.

Lu' said...

Lu--I'm more of the chocoholic variety. But I understand where you are coming from.

WNG--Honey interferes with my natural sweetness.

Thank you all for your comments. I don't have any good stories to tell right now. When my ideas are lacking I will post a funny photo and let you crazy kids run around the house with it....

Grande House Black for me. Nobody can harass you about hard core coffee drinking.
I probably send something for someecards every week. You can't help it when they fit your sentiments so well.

Doc said...

I am way out of the loop... I have never even heard of someecards before - Oh well...

Well, now I'm the one who's embrrassed. I had a small, brown coffe from the 7-11, dark with a little Half & Half and then added some of that French Vanilla creamer. Blaach!

*Ahem. I took a few extra Equal packets. My bad*

Doc said...

I was somewhere the other week and heard someone refer to Equal packets as "the blue sweet and low packets" I thought it was hilarious

Christine, Have you noticed that our parents have a fresh pot of coffee available at their house 24/7? It is probably why dad hasn't had a decent night sleep since the Eisenhower administration.

Anonymous said...

Ha, ha, ha... What's up with that? But even more questionable for me is how they can still drink it after keeping it in a jug all day, sitting around getting stale, saving it for later? Blaach again!

The Mountain Cat said...

Christine,
come on, on their fixed income? They have no choice but to save it. LOL.

Doc said...

They are "thrify"... Vin your dad appreciates the value of a dollar.

The Mountain Cat said...

Yeah Doc which is why he made you buy him drinks when he visited for my graduation, remember?

Don't be dis'in the folks. They are awesome. (But could stand to purchase some better beans - their coffee, Blaach!!)

The Mountain Cat said...

Christine, I'm not dissin'. I love them too. But I agree on their coffee. True dat!

I know - of course. Dad, if you're reading, please, help us help you!

No Chris, is 11am. You know mom & dad are at a yard sale right now. Ahhh I can't to enjoy my Golden Years too someday! *sigh*

Doc said...

Yard sale on a Thursday ?

Ooooh it's Thursday, I better type up my random thoughts!!

The Mountain Cat said...

Doc yes on Thursday! You get the best deals on a Thursday. My mom once haggled a woman for a Tiffany's paper weight from $3.00 to $2.50 on a Thursday. She's in the yard sale Hall of Fame because of this! Doc you obviously are not astute in the intricate science of yard sale buying technique. You are out of your element my friend. LOL. Love ya mom!

I Love STARBUCKS!!! I have to have at least 2 a day if not 3,4 or 5.. LOL!!

Here lately it is the French Vanilla Bean Cappuccino... It will change again in a week!

Doc said...

Vin, you need to blog the infamous "moms" yard sale story sometime... LOL!

I've only been once.
It's all a bit poofy to me.
Just a reg. coffee kind of guy.

The Mountain Cat said...

Yeah I will Doc. My mind is on a writing holiday right now. But soon...

Yard sales on Thursday blow, Friday too, because we working stiffs don't get to go and alot of the good stuff is gone by Saturday. It doesn't bother me too much really though because I don't hit the sales that often. It bugs me to have the people watch me look at their stuff and wonder why I don't want it. People bug me:)

Please don't kill me, torture me, or call me un-American, but I do NOT like Starbucks, Sam I Am.

Okay, I said it. And no, I'm not the Anti-Christ dressed in drag. I had it ONE time, had to trow it out. But, I don't like strong coffee, and I like cream and sugar, and nothing fancy in my coffee, and I only drink decaf.

{{{Shewwww, maybe I AM the anti-christ in drag}}}}

During my stay-at-home Mom days, I used to love a good Thurs yard sale! Now, I understand Lu's point of view. All the good stuff is gone by Sat. I don't bother anymore.

As American as Apple Pie said...

Bina--you have to know how to order it. I can't do the straight-up stuff. I got to have flava!

Have I got a little movie for y'all to watch about the Starbuck's Employee of the month. Unfortunately, I don't know how to put it on here. Doc--help?
