MT Doc, Empty Float

Wow all the pressure is on me while my blogger brother is out.

Well I attempted to see the Giants parade yesterday. I only managed to get as close as five blocks north of City Hall. I did get a great photo of the float the Giant players WERE on. Great picture clarity don't you think? I pushed my way though a crowd of two million fans so what more do you expect from me dammit! I had too much to do at my office than dance around in this crowd all day. Besides I had to go to the bathroom.

I did however see a bunch of punks smash up a couple parked cars! They were standing on them in order to see the parade. Either their weight, or carelessness or both destroyed a minivan and a white Ford. I was unable to get good photos of these mangled cars due to the immenseness of the crowd. Ahh, shades of 1999 when the Yankees won the World Series and I saw a few cars get smashed as well during their ticker-tape parade. However I do not feel sorry for those folks who got their cars totaled. They should have known better than to park in on a street corner during such an event!

I did manage to get these photos as well:
(Click on the photos to make them larger).

Those are some of the punks who smahed the cars.

Is that Eli Manning on the bus in the background?

You're doing a very good job of keeping us entertained while your partner in crime is out sick!

I, for one, vote for some embarrasing stories of said partner!!

Ohh I have some doozies Leighann, but whatever I mention about Doc, gets mentioned about me 10 fold! I better proceed with caution.

That's right Mt. Cat...what goes around, comes around! (Although, I would enjoy a story or two...lol!)

It was an awesome parade. I got to watch it from a 10th story window at 29 Broadway, with tons of confetti flying around, millions of people screaming and cheering. Can't wait for the Mets parade in October 2008!

Slow your roll, schleif...the Mets???

Well, if you own a mini van you gotta expect things like this to happen. All mini vans deserve to get trashed.

Schleif: No Mets talk on my blog please or else prepare to get stomped! LOL

LeapO: I will pick on myself before Doc picks on me.

Jay: When a man buys a minivan he should get a vacestomy free with any purchase.

When the Yankees won the World Series in 1996, I was at a bar in Charlotte, NC with some friends. During the game, I ate a nice meal. Then had about 5 beers. My friends bought me two shot of Jägermeister. Then one shot of Goldenslager. The Braves fans next to me bought me a couple of Greyhounds (Vodka and Grapefruit Juice). After the Yankees won, I met a couple of guys from Queens at the bar who offered me champagne. About two and half glasses later I could not walk. I crawled my way to an empty booth in the back and (scene missing).
I was so sick.

Doc was not there to save me.

LOL about the minivan and when I read Jay's comment I thought... oh know, poor Leighann and then her comment... at least i can smile today even though i feel like a load of shit. And remember Leighann needs her minivan to haul around all of those important items that she sells. ;-)

Okay... since Doc is out sick, it is in the bilaws of blogging that the partner shares with us a few stories for old times sake. Make them good.

LOL! Where was the Doc when you needed him??? You should've known better than to mix all that crap...but I'm sure we've all been there at one point or another - I know I have!

Poor kitty...

I did abuse cats as a 12 year old at my summer house in upstate New York. I used to take kittens are put them in a garbage pail and roll then down a hill. I know it was cruel. I was a bad cat myself. I was a stupid kid. God forgive me.

Yes...you need to repent for that one! But don't worry, we all do stupid things as kids...

You can do it!!! You got it all under control!!!
