New Poll 1/28

Good Monday to everyone and as usual we have a new poll to vote in this week. Last week we were able to solve the Global Warming debate because a whopping 70% of voters agreed that global warming was possible and not a hoax. Thank you to everyone who voted.

This week we delve into the world of chain coffee stores. I heard last week that there is vicious war going on between two of these chains Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts. A sort of no holds barred loser leave town caffeine fueled conflict that has gotten down right nasty between the loyal drinkers of that sludge known as coffee. We will attempt to solve this war this week right here on our blog. For the sake of the readers we are also going to include Caribou Coffee so there is a third option.

Vote for which you prefer and any debate on the subject is of course welcome. Voting ends Sunday at midnight.

MC ~ good try. I still voted Carribou.
If we're talking straight coffee, no silly drinks, they win in my eyes.
I swear some days you boys can be even sassier than I am.

When it comes to straight coffee, it's Dunkin' Donuts, hands down! I like my coffee strong, but Starbucks is enough to put hair on your chest! (assuming you don't have any there already...!)

I will go into Starbucks for the occasional latte, but I definitely have trouble speaking the language. If I'm looking for caffeine, what makes them think I can figure out how to order their overpriced concoctions??

Honestly, I get a little intimidated by Starbucks. You have to learn a whole new language to order something there. DD is easy and delicious.

'Hi can I have your Starbuck's Tall Pan-Asian Mocha Green Tea-flavored Mai-Tai Child Proof Demitasse Espresso-Latte-Chino with no-fat boysenberry whipped cream and that East Mongolian imported black currant filbert-nut biscotti cookie please. Thank you.'

Starbucks makes my heart palp. And I'm afraid I never heard of Caribou. So, I gotta run on Dunkin'.

Ahhh ... clearly those of you who think DD is actually coffee did NOT grow up in Seattle! When you need coffee - FABULOUS, caffeinated liquid (brown) gold, Starbucks is the only choice!

Coffee sucks. LOL

It's the only bad habit I don't have.

Not to change the subject here but this goes back to the poll on best condiments.

I just had for the FIRST TIME in years years years... Horsey Sauce from Arby's. Now, my boss brings my lunch in and there were two types. White and Brown. Which is the true Horsey sauce?? Because they both taste like shit. I can't believe that won.

Doc said...

Brown horsey Sauce???

Are you sure?

I ain't never seen anything but white horsey sauce...

Jahooni said...

Arby sauces ... one is white and one is brownish red. I am SURE! They are in my trash as we speak. Yuk.

Doc said...

Arby's sauce Red( BBQ) and horsey sauce white when put together are great on a roast beef sandwich... and you may not like them but the voters did.. HORSEY SAUCE THE BEST CONDIMENT IN THE WORLD !!!!

I heart coffee and Dunkin Donuts is huge where I grew up, so I have a soft spot in my heart for it. Starbucks is usually bitter, but they make one hell of an Egg Nog latte. They also treat their employees fairly well, so I'll spend 500 bucks for a cup every so often.
