Tweet of the Week Feb 17, 2010

Once again it's Wednesday and that means sifting through all the tweets from this past week and finding one that stands out. This past week was a great week as afar as tweets go but we had to narrow down to one winner. Please let me introduce this weeks winner Mandy from GameCockMamma:

Mandy's tweet came during a tweetstorm this past Sunday during the Daytona 500. for those of you who don't know there was this little pothole that came up in the track that took hours and several different attempts to fix making the race take much longer than needed. Mandy's take on it is this weeks Tweet of the Week:

Tweet of the Week 2/10/2010

Ok fellow bloggers it's Wednesday afternoon again and that means that it must be time to give away the "Tweet of the Week" award to some hot chick! Well here she is ladies and Gents. This weeks Hot chick winner is none other than your very own Cynical Bastard Jayman! (make sure and stop by his blog for his unique take on life, liberty, and the pursuit of the fairer sex)


Jay's winning Tweet came during a furious discussion of the Super Bowl Commercials on Sunday. Shortly after the Harry Potter Super bowl commercial Our Winner Tweeted this:

@Jayman3768: Unfortunately there is no Hermione ride at the new Harry Potter theme park.

So technically instead of being made BY a hot chick this Tweet was ABOUT a hot chick... So it counts. Here is your award Jay... As anyone who shares tweets with you will admit You are quite Twitty:

Tweet of the Week Feb 3, 2010

Once again it's time for the Tweet of the Week award. There were great Tweets as usual this week especially during our little Tweet Party this past Saturday night. Too much fun but I had to narrow it down to one and as I remember I called it at the time. Our Tweet of the week comes to us from our blog friend Mrs D:

Mrs D. writes a blog that we all read and love called 3 Men and a lady. She also goes by the twitter handle @3xy_1xx. Check her out because she is fun, funny, and sincere.

The tweet of the week happened last Saturday night/Sunday morning during our little Tweet Party. As you can imagine there was a good bit of alcohol flowing and at one point @MandyVaughn commented that she was seeing double. Shortly thereafter she mentions that Michael Buble was singing on Saturday night live. Then there is confusion. @Jayman3768 tries to help @MandyVaughn out and then Mrs. D clarifies with the following Tweet that if she was seeing double and watching SNL then:

@3xy_1xx: cool, then she saw TWO Michael Buble's RT @Jayman3768: @MandyVaughn you said you were seeing double.

Hilarious and very timely at the time. This weeks tweet of the week Here is your Tweet of the Week award Mrs. D - you deserve it!

Tweet of the Week 1/27/10

It was such a great week on Twitter and a bunch of Award worthy Tweets were tweeted. Tweets by @Jayman3768 , @Dana_Lu , @Kiki_Mo , and @MandyVaughn all were close contenders but one had to win. So Without further adieu let me introduce this weeks winner a fellow blogger KarenSugarpants:
Karen pens a great blog by the same name KarenSugarPants (please visit sometime) that I highly recommend. However that is not the reason she is tweeter of the week. the reason she won was her uncanny ability to get her point across very directly in just one word!

The Following Tweets happened last Saturday morning while I was at the grocery store. Ms. Pants is opining about the fact that she is "retired" from web design and is seeking other employment:

Tweet of the Week Award 1/20/10

I am introducing a new feature here on YJKOBT. The Tweet of the Week! (only kind of stolen from Sports Illustrated columnist Peter King) I follow a bunch of great and funny people on Twitter and often laugh or cringe at the things they say. I am going to use this space each week to highlight some of these great tweets. This weeks winner is @susantran for her hilarious Tweet about American Idol and the lack of Asian pop singers:
