News Shocker .. Britney Spears Lip Syncs!

In one of the most shocking news stories of the weekend it has been confirmed that the Princess of Pop Britney Spears does in fact lip sync and does not perform live in her "concerts"
Now this story was not uncovered by TMZ or Perez Hilton. No snooping paparazzi or $800/hr lawyer brought this revelation to us. Instead it was the Australian government who brought this travesty to light. It seems they have an issue with Spears selling "concert" tickets that don't come with a disclaimer that says she isn't actually singing. Imagine that concert tickets with a disclaimer that it's not really a concert... maybe it's just a performance of some sort. Judging from the picture above maybe there oughtta be some sort of disclaimer on those tickets. YIKES !

(who on earth would pay up to $1300 to see Brit Brit anyway No matter what she was doing ?)

Not the first time Killeen Texas has experienced tragedy

Among all the other thoughts I had last night while trying to digest and make some sort of sense out of the senseless tragedy was "oh my gosh not in that town again."
I distinctly remember that back when I was in college there was another sensless mass shooting in this small Texas town. As a matter of fact it's probably the only reason I am even aware there is a town byt the name of Killeen Texas. I looked it up this morning and I was correct. 23 people were killed on October 16, 1991 when a 35 year old named George Hennard drove his truck into Luby's cafeteria and began firing after watching the movie The Fisher King. Before the Virginia Tech shootings this was the single largest mass killing in US history. Killeen Texas has certainly seen more than it's share of tragedy.
My thoughts and prayers are with the folks in Killeen and at Fort Hood this morning. I just hope that the media won't rush to judgement in this case and let the authorities do their jobs.

In Memoriam

Tomorrow I will be traveling to Florida to say my last goodbyes and pay my respects to a good man, a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, and a great American hero. Chris "Absolutgator" Crews' father Col. Clifford James Crews, USMC (Ret.) passed away this past weekend and his funeral is this Saturday in Jacksonville. Please take a minute to read the obituary here online and say a prayer for their family.

Thank You.
